Alumna of Marta Jovanovic, Marina Abramovic Institute, Abel Azcona. She has performed at: The Over Gallery in Barcelona; Sigismondo Castromediano Museum in Lecce; ex Rufa Space and MAXXI in Rome; at the International Festival of Revolutionary Poetry 2024 in Bari; and Bari International Gender Festival X edition in Bari. She is a student at the Faculty of Psychology and holds a master’s degree in Art Psychology. She has published an essay entitled “Attempted Approaches and Reflections on Performance Art in the Era of the Crisis of Narrative.” She is one of the founders of the Retroguard of the Concrete movement.
Lithos is a performance without time limitations. The work investigates the universal condition of collective blindness, embodied by the mask worn by the artist, a symbol of voluntary servitude to internalized social norms. These deeply ingrained beliefs render us incapable of perceiving the blood and pain we perpetuate daily.
Nourish and nourish through fluids, a direct and constant contact of connection with nature. The need for connection with the Earth, with the natural elements, even the most raw and violent. The motivation comes from a deep terror towards the social dynamics that are part of my daily life, of which I fear I am a voluntary slave. The need to dig and search for the truth of existence.
PAV is a platform to explore performance art on video founded on the principles of solidarity and inclusion. We trust in change.
PAV operates as a cultural community:to host, foster and disseminate performance art videos that raise awareness and respond to contemporary emergencies;to generate sustainable revenues for the featured artists through users’ subscriptions, donations and video visualisation on demand.
PAV aims to consolidate a space for community building by performance making, strengthening dialogues between the artists and their supporters to target the crucial urgencies of our contemporaneity.
