For over a decade, VestAndPage have been exploring performance art and filmmaking as phenomena through their collaborative creative practice, artistic research and curatorial projects. They have produced performance-based art and films among others under Antarctic glaciers, at the Himalayan foothills, in the vastness of Tierra del Fuego, in military enclaves, or inside prehistoric caves systems. In a psychogeography of symbiotic realms they move between embodiment and research, the unseen and the unforeseen, the oppressed and unspoken, the forgotten and the repressed. Their art practice is contextual and focuses on the liminal, spectral and ritual nature of art. In an ongoing 'Poetics of Relations', they move into an encounter with the other. Their works have been presented at various sites and in theatres, museums, galleries and cinemas worldwide. They are the founders and directors of the Venice International Performance Art Week, and their research and poetic writings have been extensively published and translated for international readers. They share their methodology and mentoring on collaborative performance and filmmaking in co-creation master classes and have been guest lecturers at art academies worldwide.
The VIII VENICE INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCE ART WEEK 2023 presents DigiLabAir | Emergencies of the Contemporary, a project Co-founded by the European Union, focusing on sustainable development as a fundamental principle of our societies. EMERGENCIES OF THE CONTEMPORARY features a live performance program with internationally recognised and emerging performance artists addressing pressing issues such as marginalisation, poverty, climate emergency, migration, accessibility, social and gender equality, justice and peace.

PAV is a platform to explore performance art on video founded on the principles of solidarity and inclusion. We trust in change.
PAV operates as a cultural community:to host, foster and disseminate performance art videos that raise awareness and respond to contemporary emergencies;to generate sustainable revenues for the featured artists through users’ subscriptions, donations and video visualisation on demand.
PAV aims to consolidate a space for community building by performance making, strengthening dialogues between the artists and their supporters to target the crucial urgencies of our contemporaneity.
PAV is managed by a fluid team of artists, curators and professionals operating in the field of technology and innovation.
