ABOUT THE CURATOR

Giorgi Rodionov

Giorgi Rodionov is a multidisciplinary artist, curator and cultural manager working between Tbilisi and Berlin. His practice engages with queer and feminist perspectives, migration and the politics of belonging, centring narratives from the South Caucasus and wider Eastern Europe. He is the founder of UNTITLED TBILISI and co-founder of IN THE MOUNTAINS, a queer and feminist art platform and festival based in Berlin. His curatorial practice is rooted in community-oriented programming, cross-border collaboration and translocal networks of solidarity. Through his work, he seeks to create safer cultural spaces and amplify marginalised voices under political pressure.

An audience can also sustain what it encounters. Joining PAV means more than following a platform.
It means entering a cultural ecology in which attention can become participation.
You encounter an artwork. You give it time. You might share it. You might support it.
That support helps another artist make another work.
‍

This is the community PAV seeks to cultivate: not an audience defined by consumption, but people connected through attention, reciprocity and responsibility.
